Nomadic Languages

Copyright © 2004-2021 C.E. by D. Jon Scott

Introduction

The Nomadic languages are those derived from closed-syllable dialects of Proto-Palæoboreanic that underwent voicing of consonants adjascent to back-vowels (Terran languages), followed by glottal deconsonantalization (Alpine-Agrarian languages), and then further lenition (Alpine-Nomadic languages).

Further Lenition: Codal Voicing in Closed Dialects
+ Synalœpha

This change was only possible for open suffixing dialects and closed prefixing dialects.
